The HD3D+ Server is a two channel 2K High Definition Video Server for best presentation of high resolution videos. It decodes all kinds of MPEG1 and MPEG2 streams up to 1080p at 80 MBit/s per channel what is the upper end of the MPEG2 standard. It also supports CineForm Codec (2K, 415 Mb/s per channel) for visually lossless video screening. CineForm is known as a visually perfect Codec for up to 4K film production workflow and widespread used. Transcoders from and to DPX and JPEG2000 are available.
Two frame & genlocked DVI-I video outputs allow perfect 3D video projections. With its ability to easily control and synchronize (with) various kinds of control and effect hardware, it is also an ideal solution for 4D and 5D cinemas.
It can be used for passive 3D projections (parallel - with two video outputs and polarized glassed) and active 3D projections with most digital cinema projectors (frame interleaved - with one video output and shutter glassed).
